Documentation
Definition
The exchange rate refers to the number of currency units specified here for the 'to' currency (the currency into which you are converting).
Example
You want to store the indirectly quoted exchange rate for the currency pair EUR/JPS. In this case, you need to enter the translation ratios as follows:
From Currency To Currency Ratio (from) Ratio (to)
JPY EUR 100 1
Note that when you enter an indirectly-quoted exchange rate for EURO to JPY, you also have to store the translation ratios for JPY ('from' currency) to EUR ('to' currency).
In our example, an indirectly-quoted exchange rate for EUR to JPY of 2.00 means that JPY 100 corresponds to EUR 2.
For more information about translation ratios, see the IMG documentation for the Customizing activity Define Translation Ratios .
