Documentation
Definition
Unit for the defined exchange rate. If an exchange rate is to be saved to the system, then the exchange rate must be assigned to a unit defined in Customizing. The units must be defined as a price, percentage, inverse percentage, or point notation. The rate unit always expresses the exchange rate in relation to a base unit (currency, percentage, points).
Use
Dependencies
The price notations must be defined separately in Customizing for each market data area.
Example
Stocks are noted using the currency EURO. You must define currency: EUR, price noted, exchange rate factor: 1, currency: EUR.
Stocks are noted using the Penny unit. You must define the unit PNY, price noted, exchange rate factor: 0,01, currency: GBP.
