Documentation
Definition
The exchange rate is based on the number of currency units defined here for the to-currency.
Example
You want to define indirectly quoted exchange rates for the EUR/JPY currency pair. You must enter the following exchange rate factors:
From-Currency To-Currency Factor (From) Factor (To)
JPY EUR 100 1
Note that you must define the exchange rate factors for JPY (from-currency) to EUR (to-currency) when entering an indirectly quoted exchange rate.
An indirectly quoted exchange rate for EUR/JPY of 2.00 means that 100 JPY corresponds to exactly 2 EUR.
For more information about exchange rate factors, see the IMG documentation about the Customizing activity Define Exchange Rate Types and Conversion Factors.
