Use
This business add-in (BAdI) is used in the component Warranty Claim Processing.
You can use this BAdI to access and display a catalog of damages when you choose the F4 help function for the field Defect Code. The defect code (CV_DEFCT) that you choose is then returned to the calling program. The catalog of damages can be in the form of an external data carrier (CD-ROM), external system or as an R/3 catalog.
If you define another catalog as the default catalog, you also have to adapt BAdI WTY_READ_SUPPL_DATA and BAdI WTY_CREATE_COPY for testing the data and for reading the short text for the defect code.
This BAdI has method CHANGE_DEFECTCODE.
Requirements

In the standard implementation, a catalog from the component Equipment and Tools Management (ETM) with the catalog code WTY1 is used.
- SAP R/3 Enterprise
In the standard implementation, a standard catalog from CS - Customer Service (type "C") is used.
