Use

This business add-in (BAdI) is used in the component Warranty Claim Processing.

You can use this BAdI to influence which warranty claim data is extracted to the Business Information Warehouse (BW) and made available there for evaluations. This BAdI is called after standard processing has been completed but before the data is extracted to BW.

It has the following methods:

  • FILL_RECALL_DATA

    Completes the recall data during the data extraction

  • FILL_HEADER_DATA

    Completes the warranty claim header data during the data extraction

  • FILL_VERSION_DATA

    Completes the warranty claim version data during the data extraction

  • FILL_ITEM_DATA

    Completes the warranty claim item data during the data extraction

  • SET_HEADER_RANGES

    Restricts the selection of the warranty claims in the database if not all the claims are to be extracted. You can define according to which claim header fields the selection should be made.

  • SET_VERSION_RANGES

    Restricts the selection of versions in the database if not all versions are to be extracted. You can define according to which version fields the selection should be made.

Standard settings

Only data for the active versions and data for completed warranty claims is selected in the default implementation (methods SET_VERSION_RANGES und SET_HEADER_RANGES).
