The BAdI MRM_VARIANCE_TYPE can be used in in the transactions MIRO (Enter Incoming Invoice), MIR7 (Park Incoming Invoice), and MIR6 (Invoice Overview).
What is the behavior in the standard system?
The Variance Type field at item level of an invoice is only populated with the values SPACE, 'A', and 'B'.
What does the Business Add-In do?
The DETERMINE method enables you to populate the Variance Type field with values of your own.
What is the technical context of this Business Add-In?
The DETERMINE method is invoked at three different times:
- When an invoice is loaded
- When an invoice is reassigned
- When the PAI is performed for the items (for example, screen 6310)
Requirements
Standard settings
- The Business Add-In is not active in the standard system
- The Business Add-In cannot be used multiple times
- The Business Add-In is not filter-dependent
Activities
To activate the Business Add-In, you must create an active implementation. To do so, go to Customizing for Logistics Invoice Verification and choose "Business Add-In: Change Variance Types" under "Incoming Invoice --> Variance Types".
