In this IMG activity, you specify for each disposal document type the processing statuses that can be assigned to the disposal documents of a disposal document type and the sequence that must be adhered to.

For each disposal document type, you also enter the following data separately:

  • You specify which status is the initial status.
  • You can specify which statuses correspond to cancellation of the disposal document.
  • You can specify the statuses in which disposal documents can be completely deleted.
  • You can specify the statuses in which disposal documents are taken into account when the Returned on date is checked.
  • You can specify the statuses in which disposal documents are taken into account during the quantity check.

Requirements

You have specified the disposal document types in the IMG activity Specify Disposal Document Types.

Standard settings

Default settings are delivered.

Activities

Check the standard settings and add to them if necessary, first specifying all the statuses that you need as follows:

  1. Call the IMG activity.
  2. Choose Specify Processing Status for Disposal Documents.
  3. Enter the required data and save your entries.

Then specify as follows the statuses that can be assigned to the disposal documents of a disposal document type and the sequence that must be adhered to for the individual disposal document types:

  1. Call the IMG activity.
  2. Choose Assign Status and Previous Status to Disposal Document Types.
  3. Enter the permitted statuses and their position for the individual disposal document types. If required, set the Cancel, Can del., RDateChk and Qty check indicators.
  4. Set the IniStatus indicator for each disposal document type for precisely one status.
  5. Then specify as follows the sequence that must be adhered to for status assignment for a disposal document type:
    1. Select a line in which the disposal document type and a status are specified and choose Permitted Previous Status.
    2. Specify the permitted previous statuses for the disposal document type and status.
    3. Repeat the last two steps for all other statuses in the disposal document type.
  6. In the same way, specify the sequence that must be adhered to for status assignment for other disposal document types.
