In this IMG activity, you specify which account assignment objects you can assign in disposal processing in the Waste Management component for subsequent account assignment.
Standard settings
Default settings are delivered.
Recommendation
If different departments in your enterprise are responsible for Waste Management and Controlling, these departments should agree on the settings for account assignment. In particular, the settings in the following IMG activities and IMG sections should be clarified:
Activities
- Call the IMG activity.
- Check whether the standard settings contain all the account assignment objects you require.
- If you require additional account assignment objects, include the relevant fields in the structure EHSWAS_ACCOUNT_OBJECTS via append structure.
The names of the fields included must correspond with the names of the account assignment objects in the table COBL.
- Add the field names of the new account assignment objects included to this IMG activity and set the DsPr indicator for all the account assignment objects you require in disposal processing.
Note:
If you have included new account assignment objects, you must specify a new subscreen for single account assignment in the IMG activity Specify Subscreen for Account Assignment Block.
- Delete the DsPr indicator, which is set as standard, for the account assignment objects that you do not need in disposal processing.
Further notes
In disposal processing, you must specify an account assignment category in the Account assignment category field if a follow-on document is to be created in another SAP component from the entry document and this follow-on document requires an account assignment category to be specified (for example, a purchasing document). The account assignment category and the account assignment object that has been assigned to the entry document must correspond with each other. You can reduce possible sources of errors by only permitting account assignment objects for disposal processing here that also correspond to the account assignment categories in disposal processing.
The data specified in this IMG activity has no influence on the account assignment objects that you can assign in the Waste Management master data. If you do not want to permit assignment for particular account assignment objects there, you can hide the corresponding fields. You cannot include new fields, however. You can find more information about hiding fields in the master data in the documentation for the IMG section Field Grouping. Since the account assignment objects assigned in the master data are automatically transferred to disposal processing, all the account assignment objects that you can assign in the master data should also be able to be assigned in disposal processing.
