In this step you define allocation rule determination.
Allocation rule determination is defined by:

  • The material class type
    • material classes of class type 026
  • The material group
    • any material group of class type 026
  • The plant group
    • any plant group of class type 030
  • The serial number
    • this allows several entries with the same combination of material group and plant group to be defined. Each entry can be assigned a different allocation rule.
  • The default indicator of the allocation rule
    • indicates which entry has priority when there are several entries with the same combination of material group and plant group
  • Allocation rule number
    • the number of the allocation rule that is to be retrieved with the combination of material group and plant group

Requirements

Your system is configured as an SAP Retail System.

Only material groups of class type 026 may be used.
This class type is used as a constant in the program. Materials are found in the classification system via the class type.

Recommendation

The plant groups maintained in the step "Create plant" should be entered as the plant group.
