In this step you define allocation rule types.

The allocation rule type establishes the following parameters for the allocation rule:

  • The number range interval (internal)
  • The number range interval (external)
  • The material class type for which material classes are specified
  • Whether navigation is single-lined or doubled-lined as a default

The allocation table type results in the system proposing parameters for the following:

  • Rounding off
  • Splitting up of remaining stock
  • Quota category

Requirements

Your system is configured as an SAP Retail System.

Material class type 026 must at present always be used.

Standard settings

Allocation rule type 001 is delivered with the following standard settings: 

  Number range interval (internal)   01,
  Number range interval (external)   02,
  Material class type                026,
  Navigation (default)               blank (single-lined).

The allocation rule type proposes the following parameters: 

  Rounding off                       C (round up),
  Splitting remaining stock          C (smallest stock allocation),
  Quota category                     A (ratio).

Maintain the parameters.
