In this step, you maintain country-specific characteristics.
Country groups are defined for particular characteristics that have different characteristic values in different countries.
In the first step, you define country groups:
Several countries can be grouped together in a country group
In the second step, you assign countries to the country group.
Assign the countries that have the same characteristic values to a single country group.
Example
Shoe sizes:
British sizes: 8 1/2, 9, 9 1/2 (used in England, Ireland, and so on)
American sizes: 9 1/2, 10, 10 1/2 (used in the USA, Canada, and so on)
Country group "01": British market
Country group "02": American market
Requirements

Recommendation
Country groups should be defined to ensure that they can be easily assigned to a single characteristic, such as Size.
Activities
- First, you must decide which characteristics have different values in different countries,
such as shoe size, hat size, garment size, and so on. - Check which countries use the same characteristic values,
for example, British shoe sizes are also used in Ireland, and American shoe sizes are also used in Canada. - Group together the countries with the same characteristic values to form a country group.
for example, American market "01",
British market "02".
Further notes
Countries can be assigned to different country groups more than once or can belong to more than one country group.
