Use

In this step you define complaints reasons that map the different complaints cases in complaints processing in agency business. For this you have the following options:

  • You change an existing complaints reason.
  • You copy an existing complaints reason and change this according to your requirements.
  • You create a new complaints reason.

Activities

In this step you must make or check the following entries:

  • Complaints reason
    • Enter an alphanumeric key for the billing type, this can have up to 10 characteristics.
    • Provide a textual description for the key
  • Number assignment

    Enter a number range for the number assignment. For complaints documents the SAP system only assigns a number internally. To define a common number assignment for different complaints reasons you must enter the same number range.

    You must have defined the number ranges already. For further details see section Number range intervals.

  • Complaint category

    You use the complaint category to control whether the complaints reason can be used generally or only internally (for example, not in the Agency Business portal).

  • Default status

    Here you define the complaints status that is automatically assigned when the complaint is created.

    You must have defined the complaints status beforehand. For further details see section Complaints status.

  • Status after release

    Here you define the complaints status assigned to a complaint after it is released (for example, by the vendor using the agency portal vendor). You must have defined the complaints status beforehand. For further information see Complaints status.
    If you do not assign a status complaints complaints cannot or must not be released with this complaints reason.

  • Status after rejection
    Here you define the complaints status assigned to a complaint after rejection (for example, by the vendor using the agency portal vendor). You must have defined the complaints status beforehand. For further information see Complaints status.
    If you do not assign a status, complaints cannot or must not be rejected with this complaints reason.
  • Status after reopening
    Here you define the complaints status assigned to a complaint after it is reopened. You must define the complaints status beforehand. For further information see Complaints status. If you have not assigned a status, complaints cannot be reopened with
    this complaints reason.
  • Processing lock

    If you set the processing lock, complaint processing is not automatically called after the complaint has been created.

  • Change documents active

    If you set the switch, change documents will be updated for this complaints reason.

  • Texts

    If it is possible to create texts for a complaints reason, you must assign a text schema and a text ID to the complaints reason.

    You must have defined these beforehand. Use the text schemas and IDs from Agency Business (header). For further information see text determination.

After you have made the settings for the complaints reasons you must implement processing of each complaints reason using method PROCESS from Business Add-In WLF_CWB.
