Use
In this IMG activity, you make the system settings that control the entry and saving of store orders in the Store Order application of the SAP Retail Store.
In the first sub-step you create Customizing schemas that contain the basic settings for the Store Order application. In the second sub-step, you assign the Customizing schemas to the plants in your company so that these settings take effect in these plants when you use the application.
To simplify the assignment to plants, one Customizing schema is defined as the standard, which is then called automatically for any plants that have not been assigned a Customizing schema.
In the basic settings you can maintain the following parameters:
- The maximum number of rows displayed in the MRP list
- By restricting the maximum number of rows displayed in the MRP list, you can restrict the amount of data transferred to the browser. If the MRP list is large, the system automatically provides the user with scroll functions.
- Controlling warnings
- You can control the display of warnings when you exit dialog boxes.
- Controlling document display after it has been posted
- You can make a setting here to control whether documents should be displayed after they are posted or whether this should be omitted. Posting documents can only be displayed if the document is posted at the same time.
- Display naviagetion area as expanded or collapsed
- Display the vendor number in the dialog box too
- Choose between different EAN/UPC displays
- Maximum number of vendors in dropdown box
- If there are more vendors available in a plant than the number entered, a search function is provided instead of a dropdown box.
- Display of materials that cannot be ordered
- If you want to display materials that cannot be ordered, they are displayed in a dialog box without a field for the quantity entry.
- Switch on dialog box for single MRP
- In the Retail Store Store Order, you can make settings for requirements for each material individually. If you have selected this option, a pushbutton is provided in the dialog box for each item in the MRP list with which you can navigate directly to a dialog box for single MRP. In single MRP, you can display information that is very detailed or difficult to obtain and therefore lower the load on the MRP list.
- Display current and expected stocks
- If necessary, you can determine and display current stocks and expected goods receipts for each material individually. However, this function reaquires a lot of queries in the system. You can display the stock in the order unit of measure or in the base unit of measure.
- Determine and display default quantities
- If you have chosen this setting, an additional pushbutton is made available to the user in the dialog box that can be used to change or create default quantities.
- Activate/deactivate separate posting
- You can execute postings separately in the store order (as a background task). In this case, the documents generated in the store order cannot be displayed. Posting errors in non-simultaneous postings are logged in the application log (transaction SLG1) under the object W_SRS.
- Rounding default quantities
- If this indicator is set, the values in the default quantity fields in the SAP Retail Store Store Order are rounded. Do not use this rounding if you want to use a comprehensive "load building" rounding at a later stage. A rounding on several levels can be performed for overdeliveries.
- Type of PDC link
- You can manage the Retail Store Store Order either without a PDC link, with a PDC link using a browser (with or without Java applet) or with a PDC link using an RFC interface. For more information about the PDC link, see the SAP Library.
- Maximum number of allowed schedule lines
- Note that the schedule lines can only be copied in purchase orders.

Activities
Proceed as follows in this step:
- Define one or more Customizing schema(s) depending on whether the requirements of the business process are the same or different in your plants.
Maintain the required basic settings for each Customizing schema.
- Flag a Customizing schema as standard on the overview screen of the Customizing schemas.
You must set this flag, even if you only use one Customizing schema.
- Assign the Customizing schema to your plants.
You do not need to make an entry for plants that are to use the standard Customizing schema.
