Use

In this IMG activity, you make the system settings that control the order entry process and the saving of purchase orders in the SAP Retail Store.

In the first sub-step, you create Customizing schemas that contain the basic settings for the Purchase Order application. In the second sub-step, you assign these Customizing schemas to the plants in your company so that these basic settings take effect when you use the application in these plants.

To simplify the assignment to plants, one Customizing schema is defined as the standard, which is then called automatically for any plants that have not been assigned a Customizing schema.

Requirements

Customizing for the purchase order must be maintained.

Standard settings

Activities

Proceed as follows in this step:

  1. Define one or more Customizing schema(s) depending on whether the requirements of the business process are the same or different in your plants.

Maintain the required basic settings for each Customizing schema. You can only define the movement type for the issue posting of a stock transfer in the stock in transit here. You define the movement type for vendor returns in the Goods Receipt application in the SAP Retail Store.

  2. Flag a Customizing schema as standard on the overview screen of the Customizing schemas.

You must set this flag, even if you only use one Customizing schema.

  3. Assign the Customizing schema to your plants.

You do not need to make an entry for plants that are to use the standard Customizing schema.
