This BAdI is located in the program flow at the start of OK code processing, that is to say at the start of PAI. At this point, the program has not yet called up the function module CSO_API_DOC_CHECK.

The BAdI enables you to:

  • copy customer-specific fields that are only available on the template and not on the screen, from the ITS context into ABAP processing.
  • go to a customer-specific subdialog by means of a CALL FUNCTION, based on an OK code triggered by a customer-specific key.

Note

At this time, the current entries are unchecked in the temporary input structures _INP or the _CHAR fields of the API modules. The main structures ITEM, COND, and TEXT, plus the actual data fields, show the status after the last check. Write access should therefore be to the _INP parameters or the _CHAR fields.
