In this step you can export site master data from the client currently in use.
During the export, all data records for a site are saved in an ASCII file on your local hard drive. On the selection screen of the export program, you can enter the path and file name of the export file and the sites to be exported.
Table records are saved on a line basis in the ASCII file, whereby each line contains the table name and the record information.
The stockkeeping level, the retail-specific site data, the Customizing settings, and the customer and vendor master data are exported.
Requirements
Your system is configured as an SAP Retail System.
Further notes
No special checks are made during export.
Activities
To export a site from a release lower than SAP R/3 4.6C into a release after SAP R/3 4.6C, start transaction WBTE.
