In this step, you define how planned distributions should be brought into line with the quantities actually delivered.
A planned distribution can either be created using an allocation table or a collective purchase order.
Control parameters are maintained for every business process and processing method. The business process describes the process that led to the distribution. The processing method defines how the merchandise is to be processed in the plant (e.g. cross-docked).
You enter algorithms the system should use when too much or too little is delivered so that the distribution can be adjusted.
If any quantity remains after the adjustment is made, the system contains various procedures for processing these quantities.
