In this step, you define your assortment list types.
You can store a time management setting for each assortment list type. This setting determines the format of the lists with regards
- lead time
- the generation cycle for change versions
- the number of change versions until the next full version of an
assortment list is created
You can assign an assortment list type to any material.
Requirements
Your system is configured as an SAP Retail System.
Recommendation
As with material types, you should create only a few assortment list types.

Activities
Create one or more assortment list types.
Further notes
Assortment lists are created for each plant and assortment list type. The assortment list type needs to have been assigned to the materials.
You maintain communications parameters via the Communication profile .
You maintain the parameters for the plant via Assortment list profile .
