Use
You use this BAdI in the Enhanced Material Search function to modify the search queries, which are passed to the search engine maintained in Customizing by choosing Sales and Distribution -> Basic Functions -> Configure and Activate Enhanced Search with Creation.
This BAdI works for both Material Search and Catalog Search options, and can be used for both search engines, Search Engine Service (SES) and SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Search.
The BAdI uses the interface IF_BADI_WSD_SEARCH_QUERY.
Requirements
Standard settings
The BAdI is filter dependent, and multiple implementations are supported by the Enhanced Material Search function.
There is no active BAdI implementation in the standard system.
