Use
You use this BAdI in the Simplified Material Creation part of the Enhanced Material Search function to create retail (single) materials.
Note that the Simplified Material Creation function can only create single materials and is not designed to create retail generic materials or other structured materials.
This BAdI uses the interface IF_BADI_WSD_RETAIL_MATERIAL.
Requirements
To create retail materials, you must set the retail material option for the material category creation in Customizing by choosing Sales and Distribution -> Basic Functions -> Configure and Activate Enhanced Search with Creation.
Standard settings
In the retail system, there is an active default BAdI implementation which is called from the standard system. The BAdI is filter independent, and only one implementation is supported by the Material Creation function.
