Use
You use this Customizing activity to create system settings that control the identification of predefined pricing elements in the pricing of sales documents. Examples of predefined pricing elements include:
- list price
- sales net price
- cost
- margin (absolute and percentage-based)
You identify the predefined pricing elements in a pricing procedure using either a condition type or a subtotal.
Requirements
- You have set up the pricing procedures to be able to identify the desired predefined pricing elements.
- You have entered predefined subtotals in the relevant pricing procedures if you want to use these subtotals as options for the identification of predefined pricing elements.
- You have set up the system configuration for sales price calculation if you want to use these settings as options for the list price identification.
Standard settings
Activities
- Identification settings for pricing procedures and predefined pricing elements.
For predefined pricing elements for which you have created an explicit specification or for which there are no other identification options, you can create a condition type or one of the mentioned subtotals for each pricing procedure. If you enter both a condition type and a subtotal, the subtotal entered is redundant. You can also enter the settings for an initial pricing procedure, which is then valid for all pricing procedures without explicit identification settings.
- Identification settings for certain predefined pricing elements
As well as creating an explicit specification, you can determine that predefined pricing elements will be identified using a subtotal (one to six) or using a subtotal with a predefined meaning. In the case of the list price, you can also identify a corresponding condition type in the Logistics - General -> Retail Pricing -> Sales Price Calculation -> Control Data for Pricing Table and Data Backup Customizing activity.
Example
The following relevant subtotals have a predefined meaning:
Subtotal Description
9 Gross Value (used for the List Price)
B Cost
S Effective Value (used for the Sales Net Price)
