Use

You use this Customizing activity to create number ranges for the keyword identifier in the Keyword Maintenance transaction (WSD_KEYWORD).

You can also assign number ranges (number range object WSD_KW) to external keyword identifiers to support additional transactions.

Requirements

Standard settings

An internal number range 01 already exists in the system. You must maintain this number range to ensure that the system can successfully create keywords. You can change the preset internal values of all intervals:

    Number range    from        to        I/E

    01    0001        9999        I

If you define keywords in this transcation, you do not have to add or modify number ranges.

Activities

  • Check whether the standard settings meet your requirements. If necessary, specify new number ranges.
  • Maintain number intervals for the number range groups created.
  • Ensure that the number intervals do not overlap with other groups.
