Use
In this Customizing activity, you assign a release procedure workflow to each release procedure of a release object. The release procedure workflow handles the various release procedures.
Requirements
- You have made the settings for the corresponding release object in the Customizing activity Assign Release Object to Release Procedure.
- You have made the settings for the relevant release object in the Customizing activity Assign Rule to Release Steps.
Standard settings
SAP supplies the following different workflow templates for the Framework for the Principle of Dual Control:

50100021 Release procedure with one release step based on a BOR object
50100022 Release procedure with two release steps based on a BOR object
50100023 Release procedure with three release steps based on a BOR object
55100597 Release procedure with up to ten release steps based on an ABAP class
Activities
Assign a release procedure workflow to the various release procedures of the release object. Note that the Use Type of the SAP Workflow must suit the selected workflow pattern.
