Use
Employees with the role Internal Sales Representative can get a personal worklist in the portal (Web user interface) with an overview of condition information. The system can compile the information from several condition tables. The system determines thecondition records according to fixed rules and displays the required condition information in a tabular overview.
Example
The overview list can contain the following condition information: sales data, customer data, price data, and validity dates. Detailed data can also be displayed for a price condition, such as scale prices or condition supplements (rebates, for example).
The personal worklist is displayed in the portal as a query. The worklist type defines the basic contents of the query.
Requirements
You have made the basic settings for the worklist type in the Implementation Guide (IMG) under Sales and Distribution -> Portal Role "Internal Sales Representative" -> Personal Worklist (POWL for SAP ERP 2005).
Standard settings
The main worklist types for sales employees' work areas are predefined and assigned to the Sales and Distributionapplication:
- Sales: Customer Rebates (COND_SALESREP_CUSTOMER_BONUS)
- Sales: Customer Free Goods (COND_SALESREP_CUSTOMER_NATRAB)
- Sales: Customer Prices (COND_SALESREP_CUSTOMER_PRICE)
- Sales: Document Prices (COND_SALESREP_DOCUMENT_PRICE)
- Sales: Freight (COND_SALESREP_FREIGHT)
- Sales: Material Prices (COND_SALESREP_MATERIAL_PRICE)
- Sales: Price List (COND_SALESREP_PRICELIST)
Activities
In the higher-level IMG area Personal Worklist, you as system administrator make the general settings for the worklist type and assign the worklist type to the sales employee role.
In the IMG area Personal Worklist for Condition Information, you carry out the following additional, role-specific activities:
- Define Search Criteria for Header Attributes
So that sales employees only get the condition information for their work area (worklist type), you can define search strategies for the condition tables.
The system determines the key combinations for the condition tables for the required worklist type (for example, application Sales and Distribution, use pricing, condition type price). - Define Search Criteria for Item Attributes
You determine the condition fields that supply the required condition information for the work areas. Based on this selection and other checks, the system determines the selection criteria that the sales employees can use on the Web user interface.
- Test activity
Since the system determines comprehensive condition information in a complex process, you can check if the search strategy you defined actually supplies the required condition information. The following activity helps you do this: Select and Test Condition Information.
