Use
Employees who have access to a portal (Web user interface) can get a personal worklist with an overview of condition information. The system can compile the information from several condition tables. The system determines thecondition records according to fixed rules and displays the required condition information in a tabular overview.
Example
The overview list for a sales employee can contain the following condition information: Sales data, customer data, price data, and validity dates. Detailed data can also be displayed for a price condition, such as scale prices or additional conditions (for example, discounts).
Worklist type and feeder class
- The personal worklist is displayed in the portal as a query.
- The worklist type defines the basic content of a query in the backend system of a portal.
- The worklist type is related to a feeder class and determines which information is provided in the worklist.
Requirements
You have made the basic settings for the worklist in the Implementation Guide (IMG) under Sales and Distribution -> Portal Role "Internal Sales Representative" -> Personal Worklist (POWL for SAP ERP 2005).
Standard settings
The feeder classCL_COND_POWL contains the data for the worklist types that display condition information. The main worklist types for the Sales and Distribution application are predefined. For an overview, see Personal Worklist (Condition Information).
Activities
If you want to create a new worklist type, carry out the following activities:
- Create a new worklist type and assign it the following feeder class: CL_COND_POWL; under Define Worklist Type.
- Define the following search criteria:
- Make the settings for the query under:
- Test the selected condition information.
Since the system determines comprehensive condition information in a complex process, you can check if the search strategy you defined actually supplies the required condition information. The following activity helps you do this:Test and Select Condition Information
