Use
You can use the Business Add-In VSCAN_INSTANCE to integrate your own virus scanner into the virus scan interface.
The integration is performed by setting the "BAdI Implementation" indicator for a scanner group. When a virus scan is then to be performed using this scanner group, your implementation of the BAdI is called as a filter value for the group name, and you can transfer an instance to your scanner implementation.
Requirements
You have created a scanner group that is to address your implementation.
Standard settings
SAP does not deliver a default implementation.
Instead, the virus scan server is available as a separate component that integrates the scan engines of certified vendors using the virus scan interface.
Activities
Create an implementation for each scanner group that is to use the BAdI implementation. You can use one implementation for multiple filter values (group names).
