Use

In this Customizing activity, you define the field behavior in a pricing view in general, for each formula, or for each term.

Possible entries for the field behavior are defined with thefield mode.

To override entries of the delivered field configuration, you can change the field mode in the following way:

  • From Optional (Changeable) to Required (Changeable)
  • From Optional (Changeable) to Display Only
  • From Optional (Changeable) to Invisible
  • From Display Only to Invisible
  • From Invisible to Display Only

If you want to override the entries for the delivered field configuration, you can display the entries for the delivered field configuration by choosing the Delivered Entries button. In the subsequent dialog box, you can search for delivered entries in all fields or a specific subset. With this, you can determine the field mode.

Requirements

Standard settings

If you do not enter a value for the field behavior, a field is optional.

Activities

  1. Select a profile ID (optional).
  2. If the entry is created by an SAP partner, select the SAP Partner checkbox.
  3. Select an application (optional).
  4. Select a view ID.
  5. Select a field area.
  6. Select a referenced field.
  7. Enter a value that refers to the referenced field.
  8. If you want to execute the field behavior only if the referenced field and the value from steps 6 and 7 do not apply, select the Negation checkbox.
  9. Select a field name: The possible entries for this field depend on your selection in the Field Area field.
  10. Select a field mode for the referenced field from step 7.
