Use

Define Search Group

This Customizing activity contains two subtasks:

  • Search Group
  • Assign Search Terms to Search Group

In this activity you define the search group. You use the search group to group the search terms. Under the Search Group node, you also assign the search terms for the Search group. You can also assign the search group for search group.

Search Group

Activities

To define a new search group, proceed as follows:

  1. Choose New Entries.
  2. In the Search Group field, enter the search group code.
  3. In the Search Group Text field, enter the search group text.

Example

For creating a search group, you must enter the Search Group and Search Group Text.

To create the search group, enter the following values in the fields:

  • Search Group: 0001
  • Search Group Text: Brand

Assign Search Terms to Search Group

Prerequisites

Search Group must be defined.

Activity

  1. Choose Search Group.
  2. Select an entry from the list of search groups.
  3. Choose Assign Search terms to Search Group.
  4. Choose New Entries.
  5. Enter Associated Item as Search Term or Search Group. This is a mandatory field.
  6. Enter Item Is Group if the maintained Associated item is a Search group.
  7. Chose Save.

Example

For the search term SAP, enter the following values in the fields:

  • Associated Item field: 0001
