Use
In this Customizing activity, you define the field validations for staff assignments and forecast objects in the Cross-Application Time Sheet (CATS). The system validates the fields by comparing the staffing fields or the forecast object fields with the CATS fields.
Requirements
You have activated the business function, Commercial Project Inception and Lean Staffing 2 (PRS_ERP_CPILS_2).
Standard settings
Activities
You can choose whether or not to validate a field name for an assignment type or a forecast object. If you choose to validate a field name, the Validation Mode option can be Warning or Error for any difference between the Staffing field or Maintenance object field and CATS field entries. If you choose not to validate a field, the Validation Mode option can be No Check.
You can define field validations for the following staff assignment object types:
- Internal orders (I)
- Project(P)
- Sales document(S)
- Maintenance orders(T)
You can define field validations for the following maintenance object types:
- Forecast internal order(i)
- Forecast WBS elements(p)
- Forecast sales document(s)
- Forecast CS order(t)
You can define your own validations using the VALIDATE_CATS method in the BAdI: Lean Staffing - CATS Integration.
