Use

In this Customizing activity, you can define a customer-specific context menu that provides links to other transactions. You create a context menu profile for the object types Node and Edge and assign a number of context menu elements, such as Create Notification (Activity Report), Order List, Task List, Scheduling Overview or Maintenance Items. You thus specify which transactions the user can access directly from network graphic processing.

If you do not want to define your own customer-specific context menu profiles, you can use the SAP standard context menu profile. The system displays the context menu in your graphic as defined in this standard profile or in a customer-specific profile that you define as the default profile. In addition, you can create context menu profiles for individual users and assign these context menu profiles to their user profiles using the parameter EAML_CM_DFLT_PROF.

Activities

Create a context menu profile and assign the elements that you want the system to display as links to other transactions. You can control how the context menu elements are displayed as follows:

  • You can decide whether the element is to be displayed in the context menu of a node or an edge.
  • You can specify whether the context menu element is displayed at all.
  • You can decide at which position the element is displayed in the context menu. If you assign numbers to the context menu elements, they are displayed in the context menu in that sequence, that is, the element assigned 1 appears first, the element assigned 2 appears second, and so on. If you do not assign a number to an element, it is displayed at the end of the context menu.
