It is best to assign only one role or a user to a profile.

Activities

Carry out the following activities:

  1. Create the name and description of the profile.
  2. Carry out the step Assign role/user to profile.
    You can assign a profile to one role as well as one or several users.
  3. Select a profile and carry out the step Create default values.
  4. Enter, for example, the following default values for the application. These are the values you want when processing an original application file:

  • Workstation application that you want to automatically start when printing or displaying a document.
  • The working directory you want to copy the original applications files to. The original application files that:
    • Are automatically saved when a specified status is set
    • Were already stored in a secure area and you want to continue processing.
  • The storage category for storing the original application file using Knowledge Provider.

  1. Save the settings.
