In this Customizing activity you can maintain the settings for the profile of upload function. Each set of settings is assigned to a particular profile. In the profile,attributes for Application log, parallel processing, background process can be maintained.
Example
You can set the Application Log expiry to 50 days and specify Reject Part and Reject Record to be the message categories that have to be logged.

Activities
Execute the Customizing activity to view all the exising profiles. You can choose to create a new profile or modify an existing one.
To create a new profile give a profile name and details for application log.
You can use parallel processing by enabling the function and giving details for Server group, Number of Work Process, Number of Parts and Number of restarts.
To use Background Processing enter the Servername. If it is not entered the system takes the current system for background processing.
Choose Send Mail after Upload if you want a notification after the file is uploaded.
You can mention a Logical file name for a file to be stored in the file system.
