The distribution is the allocation of costs and related information from the replenishment element back to the originating requirement using the pegging object. The data distribution profile specifies what type of data are to be distributed.

Activities

  1. Maintain a unique profile id and its description. The profile id is assigned to the grouping WBS. This is how the distribution run knows what kinds of information are to be distributed for the grouping WBS.
  2. Mark internal procurement, if the data relates to the secondary costs to be distributed.
    • Mark actual costs, if the actual costs are to be distributed.
    • Mark payment, if cash payments are to be distributed.
    • Mark commitments, if the commitments are to be distributed.
    • Mark WIP, if the WIP values are to be distributed.
    • Mark earned values, if the earned values are to be distributed.
    • Mark variances, if the price variances are to be distributed.
    • Mark scraps, if the scraps are to be distributed.
  3. Mark external procurement, if the data relates to the primary costs to be distributed.
    • Mark actual costs, if the actual costs are to be distributed.
    • Mark payment, if cash payments are to be distributed.
    • Mark commitments, if the commitments are to be distributed.
  4. Mark stock values, if the data relates to the stock that is to be distributed.
