Caution
We recommend that new customers use only the Easy Enhancement Workbench for enhancing the SAP Business Partner for Financial Services data model.
The advantage of the Easy Enhancement Workbench is that you can enhance both the data model and the accompanying services (link to archiving, change document update, data exchange, and so on). It is the only tool to be used for making enhancements that is to be supported in the future.
You can find further information on the Easy Enhancement Workbench in the SAP Library by choosing SAP NetWeaver-> Application Platform (SAP Web Application Server)-> Cross-Application Services-> Easy Enhancement Workbench.
If you use Bank Analyzer pay particular attention to the separate notes on using additional data that are contained in the SAP Library for the primary object Business Partner.
Use
In this IMG activity you define the values permitted for the additional data fields with unrestricted use.
With the additional data you can define your own attributes for the business partner as fields with unrestricted use, user-defined text fields, and checkboxes according to user.
You can define a total number of permitted values of 11 fields with unrestricted use.
The permitted values are defined as group keys for a selected group category.
Requirements
You have individually defined the fields with unrestricted use in the IMG activity Define Category for Additional Data.
Activities
- Select a customizable group category as work area.
- Determine the values permitted for the additional data field with unrestricted use as group key for the group category that you have selected and define the text that the system should display for the group key.
You can display the values that you have selected for the additional data fields with unrestricted use on the additional data tab page using the F4 input help for the fields with unrestricted use that you have determined individually.
