Hypertext: Object Class - Class to which a document belongs.
Document Name
V_TCVARID
In this activity you can define ID types for the variable object identification. You can combine up to 3 ID types in an ID group. The ID types in a group have a logical relationship. The group represents the complete identication. The ID types are part of the identification.
Example
A variable object identication could consist of the year, month and a number. In this case the year, month and number are each an ID type in an ID group.
Requirements
Before you can define ID types and groups, you must have maintained the Customer Include in the relevant container table. A container table has been defined by SAP for each object type that can have a variable object identification. For instance for Configuration Management CONT06_PFOLDER. In this case, you must maintain the fields in the Customer Include CI_CONT06.
