Use
In this IMG activity you can define role categories for the role-dependent partial replication of data for the SAP Business Partner for Financial Services.
Role categories stored here serve as filter criteria to decide whether a business partner entering the receiver system is to be processed and posted. The system can continue to process a business partner only if the role category assigned to this business partner corresponds to one of the role categories stored here.
Requirements
Define BP roles and BP role categories in the IMG activity Define BP Roles.
Standard settings
Activities
- Choose New Entries.
- Under Role Category enter the key for the role category that is to be posted in your system.
- Save your entries.
Note

Example
Business partner data has been created or changed in a sender system. This data is replicated in another system (receiver system).
You want to post all business partners that have been created in the sender system with the role category Prospect in your receiver system. Create an entry with the role category Prospect.
If you do not create this entry then the receiver system will reject the business partner and refuse to process it.
