Use
A check module is a function module with an interface defined by SAP and that can be used to check whether or not a customer is allowed to receive the corresponding issue. For example, a customer is not to receive the standard issue if he has purchased it from a retailer in the last 12 months. The use of check modules is optional.
Check modules are used in search strategies. You can use a check module both in a search strategy to determine the next issue, and to determine additional issues.
If you want to create your own check module, please copy one of the standard SAP check modules. These can be found in function group JKSEORDER12.
The standard system contains three check routines with modules:
- Check whether customer has already purchased the media issue, either as part of a subscription or from a retailer. Uses LIS structures.
- Check whether customer has ever purchased the media issue in a subscription.
- Check to avoid delivering the same issue to a customer twice.
