Use
In this IMG activity, you define the original values for determining residual values. If the Use ID is set to 1 Residual Value of Lease and 2 Residual Value of Lease Financing, before the system can adjust the residual value you must enter values from value IDs. To do this you assign the previously defined value IDs to the use ID.
Before the residual value is adjusted for the first time, the use IDs are filled with the same value. After the residual value has been adjusted, the use ID 1 uses the new residual value. Use ID 2 continues to use the original value.

In Customizing you have defined the corresponding value IDs under Value Determination: Overview/Expert Mode for Value IDs

Value IDs:
- RVA: Residual value for accounting, assigned from condition 41NR.
- RVAS: Original ID for residual value adjustment.
In the case of NEWL and change processes of a continuous nature, the system finds the value ID using the formula interpreter (RVAS = RVA).
When the residual value is adjusted, this starting value is replaced with the new value. This occurs in the function moduleFILA_VALS_FROM_RV_ADJUST_FILL, which is part of Customizing for the system.
