Use

In this IMG activity you assign one or more insurance keys for each loan originator and determine the different parameters for calculating credit life insurance for each key.

Note:

This IMG activity is only relevant for loans that are based on the product categories Consumer Loans (340) and for which you want to enter a credit life insurance policy).

The message types LoanCalculationQuery and LoanContractCreateRequest contain three structures with condition data for the creation and calculation of loans. These structures contain condition data for the following condition categories:

• Interest
• Interest Adjustments
• Repayment
• Charges

You use the structure for charges, or to be precise, the data type LoanFeeTypeCode to transfer the insurance key from the origination system to Loans Management.

Note:

This data type from the message type can refer to a charge or an insurance key. For this reason, the system always first checks whether the value is an insurance key when processing the data type LoanFeeTypeCode.

You need to assign an insurance key for each combination of parameters for each loan originator, since only this key can be transferred. When it creates or calculates a loan, the system adds the missing data from this IMG activity, based on the insurance key send by the origination system.

Note:

If you have assigned an insurance rate that covers the risks unemployment and occupational disability to an insurance key, you also need to assign an occupational group to this insurance key.

• Define Charge Condition Types and Insurance Keys
• Assign Business Partner Data
