Use
In this IMG activity you define one or more CLI calculation keys for the calculation of the single premium for credit life insurance. You do this for each loan originator.
Note:
This IMG activity is only relevant for loans that are based on the product categories Consumer Loans (340) and for which you want to enter a credit life insurance policy).
A business partner has not necessarily been created in the system for a borrower when a loan is calculated. However, in order to calculate the CLI single premium that system requires the date of birth of the borrower and any other persons to be insured.
Create an entry for every combination of gender and age range required. You then assign these entries to the insurance keys provided in the IMG activity Assign Insurance Rates. When a loan is calculated or created, the system adds to the data for the calculation of credit life insurance from this IMG activity, based on the assignment and the insurance key sent by the origination system.
The system determines a fictitious date of birth for the borrower, by taking the upper age limit from the current system date, because the system requires the date of birth. It uses this date of birth for the calculation of the CLI single premium.
