Use
This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Shared Services Framework (CA-EPT-SSC) component.
You can use this BAdI to return the RFC destination to the CRM system. The BAdI is optional; there is a default implementation that returns the RFC destination as described below.
Requirements
Standard settings
The default BAdI implementation determines the RFC destination of the connected CRM system with the following logic:
- The implementation analyzes the CRM Middleware settings and return the RFC destination accordingly.
- If the CRM Middleware is not set up and if the system is not a productive system, the user might have maintained the name of the logical system in the user profile under parameter 'SSC_CRM_LOGSYS'. The implementation will then derive the RFC destination from the logica system.
- If no RFC destination could be determined the implementation checks whether the local system is a CRM system, such that destination 'NONE' is returned for local calls.
