Use

In this IMG activity, you define which object types you want to use in the process route. You also assign an activity type to the object types. The activity type specifies the way in which an activity is performed for a particular object type. Activities are assigned to activity types in the IMG activity Define Activities and Activity Functions for the Process Route.

You can define the following activity types:

  • Dialog
    You assign the activity type Dialog to an object type if you want the agent for this type to perform the activity in a dialog. The agent then sees a work item with this activity in his or her worklist.
    Assign this activity type to the following object types:
    • Oranizational unit
    • Position
    • User
  • Background
    You assign the activity type Background to an object type if you want the system to perform an activity (such as printing) automatically in the background.
  • Media Inconsistency
    You assign the activity type Media Inconsistency to an object if you want to control and log the external processing of the case.

To define new assignments for the process route of the circular, specify the activity area SRMDP.
