Use
Here, you have the option of creating/changing a pre-defined search. This pre-defined search can be used, for example, in a WebDAV client (such as an MS web folder), in order to restrict the element display to a single element type. This makes sense, as the "display tree" cannot display all elements (of which there might be millions).
To start with, define a unique search ID and a descriptive text (which will be used in the WebDAV client as the folder name).
Now assign appropriate element types to this search ID. If, for example, your search description refers to a KPro attribute ID, you should only specify KPro-based element types here.
Now define a search description for the search ID. You do this using selection options (also known as ranges). Should you want to define several search conditions for a single attribute ID, you have to set the line number as ascending. At present, you should only set the Sign field as "including" ("excluding" is ignored by the program that evaluates the data). When the search is run, note that the program that evaluates the data replaces value $SY-UNAME (masked with "$") with the name of the current user.
