In this step, you specify the areas of an organizational unit that are considered when the system generates an investment program.
Example
You specify that out of the "company code" organizational unit (0001), company codes 0001, 0002 and 0011 should be the nodes of the investment program.

Activities
- Enter the type of organizational unit, for which you want to select organizational units.
- Assign sequential numbers to the selection conditions that belong to the same type of organizational unit ("No." field).
- Specify whether the selection includes or excludes (I or E) the values in the next columns.
- Choose a status selection profile using the entry help.
- Enter the values to be selected (From/To).
You can generate an investment program from organizational units from the area menu. Choose Programs -> Environment -> Tools -> Generate program -> From org. units.
