Specify the structure of the investment program being generated by using existing organizational units as a basis.
Example
You specify that the investment program you are generating should have the following below its top position
- Company codes on level 02
- Strategic business units on level 03
In addition, only the last two characters of the four characters that make up the company code should be included when the system creates the investment program positions IDs:

Comment: If a coding mask has been defined for initial letter P, then the positions are formatted using this coding mask.

Activities
- Assign organizational units to the levels of the investment program.
- Specify how many characters of the organizational unit key should become part of the position ID.
- Enter the maximum field length.
You can generate an investment program from organizational units from the area menu. Choose Programs -> Environment -> Tools -> Generate program -> From org. units.
