To effect a payment in the background, the system creates an internal identification feature for the payment run.

If you use the off-cycle function to replace an online payment by a check, the system generates the identification feature from a number range interval.

In this step, you define a number range interval for the check replacement.

Requirements

Standard settings

The standard system contains the number range object HROC_REPL. You must define the number range interval yourself.

Recommendation

Define your own number range interval for the number range object HROC_REPL.

Activities

  1. Choose Tools -> ABAP Workbench -> Development -> Other tools -> Number ranges.
  2. Enter HROC_REPL.
  3. Choose Number ranges.
  4. Enter the relevant interval for the number range 01.
    During check replacement, the system only edits number range 01.
    The system does not support other number ranges. SAP recommends that you choose the interval from 0 to 9999.
  5. Choose Save number range object.
  6. Choose Transport interval.

Further notes

The number range maintenance function does not contain an automatic transport connection. Hence you must transport all intervals manually.
