Use

In this step you set up your HTTP connection to the Government Gateway.

Prerequisites

You must have the proper authorisations on your SAP system to add an RFC destination.

Activities

  1. Execute this IMG activity.
  2. Select HTTP Connections to External Server.
  3. Choose Create.

    The screen RFC Destination is now displayed.

  4. In the field RFC Destination, enter the name GB_EOY_XI.

    This is the name we suggest you use for your HTTP destination. You will need to re-enter this name several times during the course of this activity, so we recommend you keep it simple and memorable.

    Note: Since this field is case-sensitive, if you choose to use a different name you must select one comprised only of uppercase letters.

  5. In the Connection type field, select G (HTTP Connection to External Server) using the F4 help.
  6. In the Group Box Description, enter GB XI HTTPS destination in the field Description 1.
  7. Save your entries.
  8. Maintain the following attributes on the specified tabstrip:
    • Technical Settings
      • Target Host : secure.gateway.gov.uk (live site) or secure.dev.gateway.gov.uk (test site)
      Path Prefix : /submission
      Proxy Host : proxy
      Proxy Service : 8080
      Proxy Password : ?????????????????
    • Logon & Security
      • SSL Client Certificate : Default SSL Client (Standard)
      SSL : Active
      User : ?????????????????
      PW Status : ?????????????
    • Special Options
      • Timeout : ICM Default Timeout
      HTTP Version : HTTP 1.1
      Compression Status : Inactive
      Compressed response : No
      Accept Cookies : No
  9. Save your entries.
