Use

In this step, you maintain constants for controlling the e-Filing process.

Requirements

Standard settings

The following constants pertain to mail:

  • MAIL0 - allows you to maintain the title of a mail to be sent to the responsible personnel data clerk. This mail indicates that there are incoming e-filing forms to be processed.
  • MAILA - has the following three values to determine how mails should be distributed:
    • Value 0 - Indicates that a mail should not be sent to the Personnel Administrator (as assigned in the infotype Organizational Assignment (0001).
    • Value 1 - Indicates that a mail should be sent to the Personnel Administrator (as assigned in the infotype Organizational Assignment (0001).
    • Value 2 - Indicates that a mail should be sent to the Personnel Administrator (provided that the employee record has a Personnel Administrator assigned to them in the infotype Organizational Assignment (0001). If no such assignment is available, the mail will be sent to the designated distribution list (which is maintained in the constant MAILD).
  • MAILD - allows you to maintain distribution lists for mails.
  • MAILT - allows you to mark a mail as express delivery. A mail with such a designation will give the recipient a message on their SAP system interface (as soon as the message arrives).
  • MAILE - Use this constant to define the distribution list for the administration error e-mail MTERR.

Note: This constant is only valid for Process Administrators.

  • MNAME - allows you to create the text that is defaulted into the Text Name field (in transaction SO10, which you can access in the next IMG step). Note: This constant is only valid for the Personnel Administrators.
  • MTDID - allows you to create the text that is defaulted into the Text ID field (in the transaction SO10). You can access this transaction in the next IMG step.
  • MTERR - If any problems occur in retrieving incoming forms from the Governmnet Gateway into your SAP system, an administration error is raised. This constant controls the text for the error e-mail sent to the appropriate person in this situation.

Other constants:

  • DESTI - is the name in the field RFC destination (which appears in the next IMG step when you create an RFC connection).
  • PROA1, PROA2, PROA3 - these variables are used during protocol writing and are needed for technical purposes only (do not delete them).

Customise the above constants.
