Use
In this IMG activity you can define own node categories of the navigation tree in addition to those prescribed by SAP. It only makes sense to define own node categories if you also want to define own navigation trees. Using node categories you can then define the structure of own navigation trees.
You define node categories depending on the processing mode.
Make the following settings for a node category:
- Key of the node category
- Name of the node category
- Define a screen sequence category for the node category.
When you define the screen sequences in the IMG activities Internal Claim Type: Specify Claim Handler Group and Screen Sequences for Expert Mode and Internal Claim Type: Specify Claim Handler Group and Screen Sequences for Other Processing Modes, the system only offers for selection the screen sequences of the screen sequence category that you defined here.
- Specify whether the node category may be used at claim header level or subclaim level.
For example, if you set the Header flag for a node category, you must define the screen sequence at claim header level in IMG activity Internal Claim Type: Specify Claim Handler Group and Screen Sequences for Expert Mode.
- In the Node Constructor field, store the function module that determines the node.
- In the Navigator field, store the function module that is called before navigation to a new screen sequence category.
- Specify the text that is transferred to the Business Add-In (BAdI) Navigation Tree: Change Node Text and Node Icon (ICL_NAVTREE_NODE) to create the node text.
Requirements
Standard settings
This table contains entries that are used by the programs in the Claims Management component. Changing or deleting entries supplied by SAP constitutes a modification to the program. Such modifications are generally not necessary and should be avoided, as they can lead to errors.
You can create new entries in the customer namespace (identifier begins with "Y" or "Z"). These usually only have an effect on the component if you program using these values in the corresponding extensions of the program.
Activities
To use these own defined node categories, you must make the following additional settings in Customizing:
- Depending on the internal claim type and claim handler group, define the screen sequence for the relevant node category:
- For expert mode in IMG activity Internal Claim Type: Specify Claim Handler Group and Screen Sequences for Expert Mode; you define the screen sequence at claim header level or subclaim level.
- For all other processing modes in IMG activity Internal Claim Type: Specify Claim Handler Group and Screen Sequences for Other Processing Modes
- Perform IMG activity Enhance Navigation Tree Types.
- Perform IMG activity Define Structure of Own Defined Navigation Trees.
