Activities
- Create the enhancement. To do this, either create a new project or use an existing one.
Supplement the SAP coding. SAP provides you with the necessary function modules, including short text, interface, and documentation.
- Activate the project.
Only then will the ABAP coding and the enhancements be effective.
Further notes
Unlike modifications, enhancements are release-insensitive because they are not part of the SAP coding but part of a name range reserved for the customer. You can find the documentation on enhancements with the "SAP documentation" pushbutton in the enhancement transaction.
